October 3, 2011 The Christie Clark government warned that public sector unions must start “being creative” – Could this be a hint that the government will seek concession from workers? The most glaring omission in the Throne speech was the repeal of Bills 27/28. The BCTF had requested that the illegal, unconstitutional legislation be repealed and clas size and composition language be restored. Although there were several proposed supports for students, the government did not guarantee any extra funding.
