Saskatchewan legislation restricting the ability of public sector workers to go on strike has been ruled to be found unconstitutional by a Queen's Bench judge. The provincial government states that it is still committed to have essential services legislation. Regina Justice Dennis Ball said that the Public Service Essential Services Act infringes on workers' rights and is of "no force or effect."
